pokemon storyboard

Just for the hell of it, I created a storyboard about a double battle against my Infernape (the fire monkey) and Gastrodon (the Slug) against two other pokemon. I've always wanted to conduct my own take on a pokemon battle based on an actual computer simulate script. Why? because the show is cool and the computer battle is a jip. I learned to draw with pokemon first. This is probably why I'm so confident that I can draw any creature along with the fact that these creatures were designed for animation.

This is a commission recently done for a friend at my table top rpg sessions. I really like how this came out.
A commission for a close friend. I'm going to make a second one for his girlfriend to match.










A gift for my dad on fathers day. This was an experimental piece for me using filters and liquify to give an oily look to it.

Another commission that I had fun with. I don't like the horns but it's what he wanted!














This is my own personal picture done out of boredom waiting for my computer to load something.
This was a commission that was redone. The first version was so simple and half the price that it showed. I convinced the client for a second half and delivered this. Boy was he thrilled ^_^
This was my own evaluation of where I was at in skill at the time.

This is a representation of the burning passion I have within my heart. Despite things that happen to me, I keep going with vigor.

This is a large poster I created for my boyfriend and I. We found as different we are, we fit and make each other that much stronger. This has gained recognition on deviantart.com and was featured on their front page. It's designed to rotate in any direction and still look upright.
Request that I'm pretty happy with. I wanted a something a little different by implementing transparency to the character for a different composition.
Another Commission that came out very well. He was so happy with this, he gave me another job!
A thank you to SVA for helping me. I wanted a card feel without it being a card.

First post

Well... Here I am! maybe this is the creative writing my tarot reading meant LOL.. Anyway, I created this Blog to JOIN THE BANDWAGON!! BWAHAH well.. not really. Actually, I am mostly on deviantart.com as the artist StormyHotWolf88. I've been SHW88 for as long as I've been drawing, if not a little longer. Currently I've been drawing for 10 years.

Yes, if you haven't guessed, I'm taking it seriously; pursuing traditional animation as a career.

That leads to why I'm here. My entertainment law class looked down on me for using my gallery on dA as my portfolio. Said there are too many distractions... and he's right. Not to mention, It's hard to get good criticism on dA as many are young kids. I was on there to get some recognition and so far it's worked well for me. Some do recognize me when I go to Anthrocon.

(I should go to more furmeets... I'm sure many are forgetting what I look like)
